Last week was a busy one for the Design world. We’ve talked about ICFF and the amazing discoveries we made there, but at the simultaneously there was another very special design show taking place, Wanted Design –the hip younger sister of ICFF if you will.
This was only the third year for the WantedDesign fair (held at the Terminal Warehouse –or the Tunnel for any old school New Yorkers out there), yet it has quickly rose to buzzworthy status, known for discovering and featuring exciting new design talent from all over the globe.
“WantedDesign is a creative destination for the design community with innovative installations, student workshops, engaging discourse and more. Building from the success of WantedDesign’s debut in 2011, and amazing programming and attendance in 2012, the third edition will feature a strongly curated exhibition of international designers along with a rich conversation series, design workshops, a pop-up store, convivial lounges and more …WantedDesign offers participants and visitors alike with a unique and dynamic international design experience… WantedDesign is also playing a strong role, with our partners, to make NYCxDESIGN more dynamic and transform New York into a real design destination.”
